  • This project was a major remodel involving the kitchen and main living areas. The objective was to open the dark rooms to allow more family interaction and natural light.. Replacing and rearranging the windows and doors let the gorgeous view of the surrounding tree tops emerge. You feel like you're in a big tree house with modern amenities.
  • The cabinetry was made of select cherry wood using a clear satin finish. Custom panel fronts were installed on the refrigerators and dishwasher to create a clean and unified look.
  • The wide plank oak flooring was layed on the diagonal throughout the area to create movement and unite the thresholds seamlessly. It also allows furniture and rugs to be placed in any arrangement without restricting lines.
  • The custom built in wine rack holds 33 bottles. There was previously a water heater in this space that was moved allowing us to clip the corner wall to open the narrow walkway, create storage and reveal a lovely new view from the the kitchen. The diagonal planks once again help widen a narrow space and create a great sense of free movement.
  • The tiny guest bath in the hall was reconfigured to accommodate family visits including a shower with tub for the grand kids. The natural stone and maple cabinets are soft, earthy and elegant.
